Thermal shock tests are becoming increasingly more necessary in all industries requiring sudden temperature change with optional humidity control to evaluate product quality and reliability and manufacturing, before being released to the market. The tests measure the behavior of several materials used in the industry, as well as many consumer products, and they should be monitored with precision in conditions of sudden temperature changes, testing the ability of the material and allowing the identification of possible defects in extreme conditions. Foran develops thermal shock chambers in several volumes, with excellent precision and control.

It counts on the cryogenic cooling option, which characterizes a negative temperature greater than that reached by the conventional cooling system. The chamber consists of two individual housings, each set to a different temperature (Positive and negative) and a system that allows the displacement of the sample from one housing to the other for sudden change of temperature under a speed set by the operator.
