Cryogenics is a branch of physics that studies technologies to reproduce very low temperatures (below -150°C) until the boiling temperature of cryogenic agents, such as liquid nitrogen.

Foran develops cryogenic systems to freeze, cool or control the temperature, in several applications, for its own use in tests, production lines, complementary cooling, food freezing or dynamic applications, such as refrigerated transport, etc. Cryogenic gases are the source of incomparable cold and their cooling abilities allow new perspectives of process optimization of new product development. In addition, it is possible to start the freezing process in a cryogenic system and then include it in conventional cooling systems for reduced cost.

  • Cryogenic tanks of different volumes
  • Vaporizers and heaters
  • Special nozzles of liquid nitrogen aspersion
  • Nitrogen supply in liquid and gaseous forms
  • Temperature reduction (up to -160ºC)
  • Stainless steel valves and piping, vacuum isolated
  • Cryogenic chambers
  • Various controllers, automation and standard safety valves
  • Several applications in the industry, such as (mobile or fixed) flash freezing chambers, part glazing, overheated part cooling, part and coupling size reduction, pre-cooling/freezing of foods and products.
